Field Assembly began as a studio that designed and built custom operating systems for owner-run companies. That practice taught one lesson over and over: the information that decides most disputes between a person and an institution is public, fragmented, and unread. The studio work is complete, and the lesson is now the whole company. Field Assembly publishes reference works — free, sourced entirely from institutions' own published documents, quoted with dates and links to the originals, re-verified on a stated cadence, with absences recorded as findings and corrections made on the record.
